This is a re-working of a free-verse poem I wrote down two-ish years ago, and thought the concept was interesting. So, I decided to improve on the execution.
The Fine Print
"Life"
reads the label.
It will bring you
happiness,
Fulfillment,
love and
purpose.
It can all be
yours
if you try it
today.
"Warning:"
read the label.
Side-effects of
"Life"
May include
crying
chronic pain
heart-break
hopelessness
depression
insomnia
desperation
fear
longing
mild to severe bleeding
and
Death.
Use "Life"
with extreme caution,
and only after consulting your doctor.
"Life"
is not
for everyone,
but has been known to
help
in some cases.
